Home of the Two-Step mold.
International shipping has been adjusted to $45 CDN for everywhere except North America. That is the cost of a 1kg package that's 20x20x18cm in size. It may need some fine tuning later but we'll see how that works for now.
Don't be fooled by the number if listings, there are over 70 two step mold patterns.
Modular Molds are molds that make small castings that you glue to pen tubes in any position that you want. The castings have various concave radiuses ranging from 7mm (for smaller castings) to 10mm (for larger castings) on the bottom side to make it easier to glue them to the tubes. Most are concaved in such a way that will make them glue to the tube in a vertical position. Approximately 1/3 of the castings are concaved in a way that would allow them to be glued to the tubes sideways. These rows or columns are indicated by the white arrows. Also some cases like the Bones can be glued on at a 45° angle as well as vertical and horizontal.
To save on website listing space I have all the patterns on this listing in the form of a drop-down list. Just select the one you want to buy.
Some patterns like the Paw Prints mold will require the use of a pipette equipped with a glue extender (shown with the paw prints mold) to fill the smaller details like the toes. A pipette will not fit into them which is why I use the glue extender. It's really meant for use on the CA glue bottles (available on Amazon) but works great for this purpose. Other longer objects like the Chile Peppers or the Bones you can use a pipette only and fill the object from one end only and let it flow in. Practice makes perfect. LOL
After they have been glued to the tubes they can be put into a cavity using tube mounts and the final filling pour of resin can be done to complete the blanks, tube and all (no drilling).
The photos with two molds show a size comparison between these molds and a regular two-step mold with cavity.
The photos with the old modular mold that had a built in cavity shows the tube with glued on castings (vertical type) and the completed blanks after turning.
Finally the last two photos show the Cavity mold and the Tube mount kit, both available on this listing by selecting that option. Note: You save on additional shipping charges if you order the cavity and tube mount kit from this listing at the same time that you order the modular mold.
I love the quality of these molds!
I own several of these molds by Armand, and they are absolutely the best silicone molds on the market.

Silicone Mold Designer/Maker
Hello, I'm just an elderly gentleman that used to make wood pens and sold them on the crook site known as E t s y! This website is my breakaway from them. Anyway, as I said I used to make wood pens but the pen making competition out there is just too great for this old guy. When COVID broke out my son and I started making mask prototypes from heat resistant skin safe resin. That required the use of custom silicone molds. Well we finally got a mask that was approved by the hospital for use but it had to be patent pending before they would buy them. So with no money left to pursue it any further it was dropped. I had all this silicone left so I decided to design and make a new universal tube-in mold that would work for most any pen type. One thing lead to another and here I am now with a full product line of two-step silicone molds for pen makers and have new patterns coming out all the time. This new product line is a low profit but satisfying one that I enjoy doing. They have been sold to customers in over seven countries.
Please Note: If Armand's Write Stuff (AWS) spends time designing and making a new product - even if it was by request - the product design remains the property of AWS and will be sold as seen fit by AWS.
