Home of the Two-Step mold.
International shipping is nearly impossible to generalize under my current settings so I suggest before you finalize your order talk to me and I'll adjust the shipping as close as possible for you.
Make sure to check out the new Badge / Magnet / Keychain / Coaster molds. New ones coming all the time. If you don't want the mold I now sell the actual castings in whatever format you need.
All prices listed are in Canadian Dollars (CDN) but orders are paid for in your currency's equivalent. All invoices will show as CDN dollars.
All ships and ranks are available in two mold sizes (small & large).
The Small mold type has a badge and a cavity. When ordering this size you must use the “Notes” box to state which badge you want (Command, Engineering, Medical or Sciences).
The Large mold type makes all four badge ranks, no cavities. The number of badges that it can make is dependent on the size of the individual badge. Shown here the large Enterprise badge mold has 6 badges but only because two extras could fit. However, the Lexington only has 4 badges due to the badge size. Note: A separate cavity mold must be ordered so that the badges can competed.
Coasters : Coasters (4" in Diameter) of each badge's pattern. For now I only have the Enterprise Command coaster done. I will add more as I get them done.
NOTE: If a cavity mold is ordered, all other options are ignored. I used a pipette to fill the mold with resin. In some cases I had to shorten the pipette (by about 3/4”) and slip on a glue tip extender (after filling with resin) to give even finer filling control. The last photo shows what I used. Both the pipettes and the glue extenders are available on Amazon.
These molds only make the castings. It is up to the creator to turn them into badges (or fridge magnets - suggested by a good friend). I found lots of badge hardware on Amazon but I'm not going to buy a 100 (or more) pieces to make one sample badge. Also there are a lot of peel and stick magnets there too. Regardless which ship you want the mold types are pretty much standard for all of them.
The USS Enterprise photo's show the procedures on how to pour the badges. On the pattern side of the mold (medium mold type), first you pour the badge face color (Gold). Second you pour the badge background color (Black). Last you remove the casting and flip it over and put it into the empty cavity side. Once firmly seated to the bottom of that cavity fill with clear resin. Do not over fill on any of these steps as this will make for less cleanup later.
The USS Lexington (Diamond with four half circles) took the same number of pours. However, it was pretty late when I started to make this sample and I never noticed that I over-filled the gold on the lower right corner. Still it's a good example of what NOT to do. LOL
The USS Yorktown, the triangular badge. Can make two badges at once thanks to it's shape.
The USS Intrepid, shown here as a drawing. I have yet to make it a reality but as soon as it sells I will include photos here.
The Klingon Badge mold ... available in the Small size mold ONLY !!! So if you select this mold make sure you have the Small mold size selected as well. Come's with the cavity on the same mold. This is a three step mold and the steps are numbered right on the mold. First step makes the triad and the circle (shown here as black). Second step fills in the empty space (shown here as red). Third step is the clear top coat, flip the casting over to fit in the #3 mold. The completed Klingon badge in the photo hasn't had any clean-up performed on it. Also, the fact that the step one casting has to be moved makes it possible for resin to seep under it when the second pour is done because it doesn't have a slight bond to the silicone. I just took an xacto knife to scrape off any the did seep under leaving it clear for step three.
Note: There are so many mold sizes (3) and ships (20) that I haven't made all the possibilities yet. If they are ordered then I will make what's ordered and plug in some more photos here. I suspect though that the Enterprise will be the most popular of them all.
I love the quality of these molds!
I own several of these molds by Armand, and they are absolutely the best silicone molds on the market.

Silicone Mold Designer/Maker
Hello, I'm just an elderly gentleman that used to make wood pens and sold them on the crook site known as E t s y! This website is my breakaway from them. Anyway, as I said I used to make wood pens but the pen making competition out there is just too great for this old guy. When COVID broke out my son and I started making mask prototypes from heat resistant skin safe resin. That required the use of custom silicone molds. Well we finally got a mask that was approved by the hospital for use but it had to be patent pending before they would buy them. So with no money left to pursue it any further it was dropped. I had all this silicone left so I decided to design and make a new universal tube-in mold that would work for most any pen type. One thing lead to another and here I am now with a full product line of two-step silicone molds for pen makers and have new patterns coming out all the time. This new product line is a low profit but satisfying one that I enjoy doing. They have been sold to customers in over seven countries.
Please Note: If Armand's Write Stuff (AWS) spends time designing and making a new product - even if it was by request - the product design remains the property of AWS and will be sold as seen fit by AWS.
